I have had the experience of a long career in the Classic & Modern Sequence fields. I started my dancing career at a holiday camp back in 1967 at the age of 12. Over the following years I took medal tests and then onto competitions where I rose through the ranks, winning numerous trophies on the way. Here are some of the 30 championships I won with my partner between 1981 & 1982:

I turned Professional in 1983 and in the following years was involved with training pupils of all levels (Juvenile, Junior & Adult) at both medalist and competition levels. During this time I also won the :
In 1991 I took time out from dancing for personal reasons. During this time I kept up my interest in the music of dancing. In the spring of 2007 I decided to return and therefore re-established my contacts in the business along with the teaching qualifications.

1984 "Associate" Sequence qualification with the IDTA (Old Time)
1989 "Licentiate" qualification in Sequence with the ISTD (Old Time)
1994 City & Guilds 7307 "Further and Adult Education Teachers' Certificate"
2009 "Associate" qualification in Modern Ballroom
